How much does it cost to use AgoraStaff?
Carers can use AgoraStaff completely free of charge.
What is involved in the carer sign up process?
We have made the sign up process as simple as possible. Carers are required to perform an ID check which is performed electronically within the AgoraStaff app. This confirms your identity and your right to work in the UK.
Once you have completed the ID check, you will need to provide the following:
- provide your DBS certificates
- provide your employment history
- complete 2x references
- provide your qualifications and training certificates
- provide your bank details so you can get paid
Once your AgoraStaff profile is complete and verified, you can start applying for shifts.
When do I get paid for the shifts I have worked?
What happens if I can't make a shift I have been booked for?
If you can’t make a shift you have been booked for, it is important that you cancel the shift in the AgoraStaff app
- If you inform the provider in good time, the shift will be relisted and someone else can pick it up.
- If you cancel at short notice (within 24 hours prior to shift start), your rating within AgoraStaff will be adversely affected which will make it harder for you to get shifts in the future.
What if I have an issue with a shift I have worked?
If you have an issue during a shift, you can raise a dispute with the provider within the AgoraStaff app.
This notifies the provider that there is an issue and gives them the opportunity to respond and resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved within 24 hours, the dispute is automatically esculated to AgoraStaff who will investigate and assist with resolving the issue.
How do I know if a shift is right for me?
AgoraStaff uses AI to match you with shifts that fit your profile. You can set up notifications so you are alerted when a shift that matches your criteria becomes available in your area.
